Who We Are

During an epic surf trip in 2023. Martin, an experienced surf coach and friendly resident of Lombok met Marc, a beginner level surfer who has no business starting a surf school.

They spent a few weeks exploring the many surf spots of Lombok. Driving mopeds down dirt tracks and through rivers whilst dodging cows.

They made it to the ocean and found friends in the water, got wiped out by big sets, caught the waves of their lives and most importantly had an incredibly good time.

They got really excited and Surfing Banditos Lombok was born.

What We Do

We offer quality surf lessons delivered by our growing team of experienced local coaches.

We teach you how to surf, with focused coaching adaptive to your needs.

We have fun while we’re doing it, cos that’s the whole point.

Why We Do It

Lombok is growing fast and we want to be as much a part of positive growth for the island as possible.

Surfing Banditos Lombok represents two basic ideologies. That great coaches deserve to share in the success of the business and that a great surf school would care about the environment.
